As a teacher, mother of two boys, and a counselor, Penny has always felt that if we take a child’s hand, offer them security and show them we care, then we can open their mind to endless possibilities. Through her experience she has observed many individuals writing their story without any guidance or support, especially during the most difficult times of their lives.  Penny believes that by encouraging and guiding individuals we empower them to overcome any obstacle and discover their true purpose in life.

Penny was born in Dallas, Texas and has been here most of her life.  It was at the University of North Texas where she received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. She has a Master of Arts in School Counseling and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Amberton University. She has been in education for 21 years, spent 11 years in the classroom teaching Kindergarten and First Grade, and for the last 10 years she has been working as a school counselor.

Penny has been married since 1992 and has been blessed with two boys.  The oldest just graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Biomedical Engineering.  The youngest is nearing graduation with a degree in Economics from Texas A&M University. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is Penny’s greatest accomplishment in life.  One of her favorite sayings is,

“Peace on the outside comes from knowing Christ on the inside.”
